nice start to a single-button endless platformer :) basic sfx and background music always take a game a big step forward for me (it makes it feel more like a game immediately which is inspiring as i develop).
beyond that, parallax background scrolling would be a fitting feature to add some immersion, and something for us to collect seems a logical next step, too.
meanwhile, having to jump to start the run immediately takes control away from the player where the next step is a little too crucial so early on so consider another key to start the fun? ie, rightkey?
otherwise, i can see the player slowly moving across the screen but, after scoring over 10K, i realize the game never becomes more challenging so, perhaps, increase the speed the platforms approach to boost the fun?
a great first game with a lot of potential fun AND opportunity for you to learn so try different things, use your imagination, add a little more FUN and continue building your dev muscles :)
edit: 1) please add the Fullscreen button, 2) i'm no pro but i offer the above to inspire as your first offering of fun has inspired me so, thanks for sharing. Followed as i'm interested in your progress, here :)
Hello, thank you so much for your feedback. This is realy helpfull. I will be implementing said features as soon as possible.
